This Adjustable Dog Car Restraint attaches to your dog's harness (never a collar!) and clips into your car's seatbelt buckle. The adjustable length lets you customise the fit for smaller or larger dog breeds, ensuring your pup can sit or lie down comfortably in the back seat. Fits 3 Point Seat Belt Systems - which is majority of cars in Australia, there are a few vehicle makes and models that will not work with this restraint (ie they do not have 3 point seat belts). Best guide if you do not know what your seat belt type is, if the end clip on your car seat belt doesn't look like the clip on this restraint - do not use it. (Typically it will go in the seat belt buckle but it will not come back out if you use it with a different seat belt system). If you do not have a 3 point seat belt system you need a "universal" fitting car restraint.NEVER CONNECT YOUR DOG TO A CAR RESTRAINT VIA THEIR COLLAR AND ALWAYS TO A HARNESS! EVEN SUDDEN BREAKING COULD SERIOUSLY HARM YOUR DOG IF YOU CONNECT TO THEIR NECK (RESULTING IN DEATH, HEAD OR SPINE INJURY).
YOUR DOG SHOULD ALWAYS BE IN THE BACK SEAT OF YOUR VEHICLE AND NOT THE FRONT SEAT - AIRBAGS CAN KILL THEM.
Care Instructions
Keep your gear looking fresh! All our printed neoprene dog harnesses and accessories are machine washable on a cold gentle cycle (30°C max). Pop them in a laundry bag with mild detergent, then lay flat to dry in indirect sunlight.
Important:
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron
- Natural fading may occur over time - this is normal wear and tear
- We recommend using a laundry bag to protect hardware

You want to measure your dog around the neck and chest points (behind the legs at the widest point) and must allow an additional few cms (slip 3 fingers widths in when measuring) at each of these points for your BOWs comfort.

I've bought a few items here and I love the discounted matching 5pce bundles they are such great value! Most stores do not offer sets let alone discounted sets that save you money!!! They know that you will want all the matching accessories and by the time you've got them all they cost you $100s of dollars but with the bundles you get everything and save!!! Definitely worth it and don't have to worry about purchasing online from H&M! Definitely recommend quite a few of the ranges I've purchased for my dogs! Get the bundles and add a car restraint!
