The CABLE HOUND DOG SWEATER FOR WHIPPETS is a beautiful soft wool blend chunky knit cable dog jumper designed with Whippets in mind! With longer body lengths and narrower neckline in gorgeous two-tone colour Hazelnut Latte. Some have found this sleeveless sweater also perfectly fits their Dachshunds - measure your pet to check!

Two different tones of wool: one side is dark grey marle, the other is lighter beige-stone marle. They join together across the back length in a beautiful cable knit twisted rope pattern and at the chest in a straight line. The stretchy knit makes dressing your Whippet a breeze and keeps them comfortable and warm whilst oozing absolute WOW!

IMPORTANT - Understanding Front & Back Measurements:

FRONT LENGTH and BACK LENGTH are measurements of the ENTIRE sweater from the tip of the neck to the bottom edge
They are NOT the length of your dog's front and back
Use these measurements to work out if the sweater would be too long or too short
Remember: a portion of the length is on the neck
The sweater sits higher than the collar (see photos of Penny the Whippet)
Your measurement on your dog would start about where the sweater sits in the photos

Product Information

This Wool Blend Garment is lovingly hand-dyed and knitted using premium 70% wool blend yarn. Warm, cosy, and perfect for cooler weather. This knit has been made in a two-tone marle wool of beige and charcoal and the same yarn was used in our Knitted Ponchos.

Care Instructions

Treat your knits as you would wool garments with care to keep them looking beautiful! Hand wash or machine wash on a cold wool cycle (30°C max) using wool-specific detergent. Lay flat to dry in indirect sunlight - never hang as this will stretch the garment.

Important:

Use ONLY cold water and wool/delicate detergent

Do NOT use hot water

Do NOT bleach

Do NOT tumble dry

Do NOT iron

Do NOT dry clean

Do NOT hang to dry - always lay flat

Natural pilling may occur with wool over time - this is normal wear and tear - but we mix with other fibres to reduce this

We recommend using a mesh laundry bag for extra protection

Reshape gently while damp if needed

Wool Care Tip: After washing, gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring) and roll in a clean towel to absorb moisture before laying flat to dry.

Different designs and manufacturers have different sizings, so always measure your dog for each purchase. Hand-knitted garments may have slight sizing variations due to the handmade nature of the product.
