Tailored for Dachshunds' unique silhouette with no sleeves, just arm cuffs for easy movement. Available in three sizes for miniature and standard Dachshunds: XXS/XS, XS/S, and S/M. May also suit other dog breeds - just measure carefully (chest, neck, front and back lengths).
Three stunning hand-dyed shades: vibrant red "CHILLI", earthy brown "HAZELNUT", and deep sage green "EUCALYPTUS". Each jumper is individually handmade, so slight variations are normal - that's the handcrafted charm! Machine washable on cold wool cycle.

The WOOLLY WEENS Dachshund Sweaters are genuinely handmade, and that means they look, feel, and are constructed completely differently from the machine-knitted garments you might find in a pet shop or large online retailer.
How handmade knitwear is finished
When a knitter starts a new ball of yarn mid-garment, the join creates two small yarn tails. Rather than tying a knot β which creates a hard lump and is actually weaker β these tails are carefully woven through the surrounding stitches on the inside of the garment to secure them. This is the correct, professional finish for any handmade knit. If you turn your WOOLLY WEENS inside out, you may see these tucked-in ends. They are not a flaw β they are a hallmark of how handmade knitwear is made. Please do not pull them.
Why handmade looks different from machine knit
Machine-knitted garments are typically produced as flat panels of fabric that are then cut and sewn together β similar to how a woven fabric garment is made. This process creates a flat, even surface but limits the structure and dimension of the finished piece.
Handmade knitting works in three dimensions from the start β stitches are built upon stitches in the round, creating natural depth, texture, and structure that is extremely difficult to replicate on a machine. That sculpted, textured appearance you see in the WOOLLY WEENS? That's the hand behind it.
Every WOOLLY WEENS sweater is individually made by skilled artisans and quality checked multiple times before it reaches you. Small natural variations between pieces are part of what makes each one unique.

- Non-Dachshund breeds β measure carefully, these can still fit!
- CRITICAL for males β check the front length won't be too long
Key Details:
- Neck cuffs: 7cm / 2.8" (XXS/XS & XS/S) and 9cm / 3.5" (S/M)
- All lengths include the neck cuff which sits higher than the collar
- Neck measurements are UNSTRETCHED β the knit stretches further
- If borderline between sizes, go up β but stretchy knits are forgiving
