Our gorgeous luxe Woolly Weens Dachshund Sweaters are designed with your long, low, and lovable Doxie in mind, the Woolly Weens collection features beautifully handmade chunky cable-knit sweaters crafted from soft, hand-dyed wool blends — the ultimate cosy layer for cooler days.
Tailored specifically for Dachshunds, each sweater is shaped to suit their unique silhouette with no sleeves just arm cuffs and comes in three sizes to suit both minis and standards: XXS/XS, XS/S, and S/M. These sizes may also suit other dog breeds as well of course — just be sure to measure your pet checking chest, neck and lengths front and back of these sweaters. We are starting with a stunning vibrant red shade called "CHILLI", our gorgeous earthy brown shade called "HAZELNUT" and a glorious deep sage green shade called "EUCALYPTUS".
Each piece is individually handmade, so slight variations in measurements are normal — that’s part of their charm. And don’t stress about those muddy adventures — Woolly Weens are machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle in a laundry bag, just like your other woollens. Starting with three gorgeous colours, this range will continue to grow — so keep an eye out for new shades!
Need to layer up? All Hendricks and Maple harnesses adjust at both the neck and chest, making it easy to fit your harness over chunky knits like these in the cooler months. Typically Dachshunds fit our size M harnesses with size S collars.

PRODUCT INFO & CARE
Hendricks and Maple knitted garments are machine washable in a laundry bag on a cold, delicate cycle and should be laid flat to dry. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron. Fabrics may fade over time. Made from natural and synthetic fibres. Some fabrics and yarns are delicate. It is recommended to wash wool garments on a cold wash with wool detergent only.
There is a lot of stretch in the knit of these beautiful sweaters and the three sizes are specifically designed to fit Miniature and Standard Dachshunds though some find that they also fit their pups of other breeds as well. To check this look at the actual sweater measurements itself to determine if it will fit your pet. Measure your Weenie to ensure you get the best fit.
Typically size XXS/XS will fit mini puppies and very small Miniature Dachshunds (and Chihuahuas) and size XS/S typically fits adult Miniature Dachshunds and puppy stages of Standard Dachshunds (Cavapoo, Cockapoo and other breeds) and size S/M typically fits Standard Dachshunds (as well as some Cavoodles, etc). Just be sure to measure for your pet. There is a lot of stretch in knits so even if you have a pet with a particularly larger than usual chest size they will usually work as they can stretch to accomodate, just check that front and back lengths will not be too long or too short for whatever size you choose. Keep in mind for males in particularly that front lengths do matter as you do not want your weenie wetting his sweater when he goes toilet if its too long at the front for him.
Different designs and manufacturers have different sizings so always measure your dog for the perfect fit for the design you are buying. You want to measure your pet around the neck and chest points (behind the front legs at the widest point) and must allow an additional few cms (slip 3 finger widths in when measuring or add 2-3cms) at each of these points for your pets comfort. You also want to measure your pets back length and check the sweater length is suitable for them. Do not add extra cms to the back length measurements.
EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

If however there is a problem here are our exchange and return policies:
Refunds are only provided on items that are faulty or incorrectly supplied. You can obtain a store credit for incorrect sizes or change of mind purchases within 30 days of purchase if the goods are in the same condition as received with all tags and labels still attached, in the original packaging and unused. Unfortunately we cannot cover postage costs for returning these items and any store credit will not include shipping costs as they are not refundable.
Before returning any goods to us for either faulty or incorrect items, refunds, exchanges or change of mind purchases please email us at hendricksandmaple@gmail.com with your name, order number and invoice number and date purchased with photos of the product within 7 days of receipt for faulty items and within 30 days of purchase for incorrect sizing/change of mind and we will reply to you as soon as possible to resolve the situation. Please don't just send products without speaking with us first.
For faulty goods please provide photos of the problem and we will discuss returning the item to us for inspection. We will send a replacement to you (or refund if no stock is available) once your refund is approved. All goods are checked prior to sending that they are not faulty and will arrive to you in great condition. If something is missing from your order please contact us immediately.
If you have ordered an incorrect size or have change of mind we will do our best to exchange the item for the size you require, stock depending, or exchange for a same-priced product however we can not cover postage expenses and you will need to return the item back to us for processing first at your expense before we can issue an exchange. The item must be in the condition it was received with all tags and labels still attached, in original packaging and unused to be approved for exchange. Please email us first within 30 days of purchase to discuss before returning.
We will exchange your item for another size if approved or if we do not have stock exchange for another same-priced product. In some circumstances we will give you a store credit. Shipping costs will not be covered in a store credit or exchange agreement however as these charges are not refundable.

We use Australia Post standard domestic parcel service in international post to send our goods. Please see final shipping cost which will be calculated in the checkout section and based on the weight of your total order. Some items covered by standard rate shipping.
SIZE CHART - WOOLLY WEENS DACHSHUND SWEATERS
Our beautifully soft chunky cable knit Dachshund sweaters are available in 3 sizes and there is a bit of stretch in the knit. Please measure your ween prior to purchase for the correct fit and go up a size if on the edge of the range IF the front and back lengths will still work for them. Always allow an additonal 2-3cms or 3 fingers under the measuring tape for your weens comfort to the neck and chest measurements but keep in mind with a knitted garment they do stretch and it is not the same as measuring for a harness, etc, that does not stretch.
NOTE its possible other breeds may fit these sweaters but this is not guaranteed and you should always measure your dog to know their measurements for any product you purchase.

NOTE Front and Back Lengths quoted above are of the sweater not of your pet and DO NOT include the neck cuff. Whilst it is recommended typically to add 2-3cms to measurements for neck and chest for comfort you do not add extra to a back length measurement. Also as this is a stretchy knitted wool blend sweater - adding extra is not as important as it is for something like a harness or collar for example as they do not stretch at all. So do not go up a size for slight range differences if the back and front lengths are wildly too long by doing so as this sweater will likely stretch to accommodate your pet.
